Imagine That Summer Camps 2011

On the Road.

Re-live your childhood, with your child. Every song is likely to revive a memory from your summer's past. Play Eye Spy and find shapes in the clouds to pass the time. Take an imaginary trip to vacation destinations in a bus named "Van Go."

Five lessons feature music, stories, snacks and crafts. This camp makes the most of a preschooler's burgeoning imagination and ability to learn more words and solve problems. Take imaginary trips to summer vacation locations such as the carnival, a summer cottage, and the beach. Parents also learn more about how music improves a preschooler's ability to think, reason, create and express.

Imagine That Summer Camps

Confetti Days!  

Throw a new party every day. Ride a carousel inside the classroom. Play a balancing game and walk on the web of ropes. Learn colors and sing the Spanish song "De Colores." Sing "Pop Goes the Weasel," and "Looby Loo."           

Confetti Days! was inspired by observing children at play.  This exciting celebration-packed curriculum incorporates an integrated learning approach where music is interwoven with movement, art, language, drama, play, and storytelling to produce a tapestry of multi-sensory experiences for the child. 

With lessons titled Clowning Around, Looby Loo, Carousel, Follow the Leader, and Dancing Colors, children will relish in the celebration and fun they discover.  Songs and activities for Confetti Days! have been selected to represent the many ways children around the world enjoy simply being children! 

(Parents join us for the last 30 minutes.)

Imagine That! takes you and your child on a musical journey of discovery and exploration…a journey limited only by the power of imagination. Pretend play activities are integrated with music, vocal development, storytelling, movement and literature to capture your child’s potential to learn and to encourage cognitive and literacy skills, creativity and individuality.

Kindermusik Imagine That! is designed for active, energetic, enthusiastic, and imaginative 3- and 4-year-olds and encourages socialization, sharing, and participating in group activities. Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the preschooler's vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge. Parents are invited to participate in the last 15 minutes for Sharing Time of the 45-minute class.
