Homeschool Chorus

Johnston County Home Educators (JCHE) sponsored Junior Homeschool Chorus meets weekly from September to May (with a few Holidays at Christmas, New Years and Easter) on Mondays from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at White Oak Baptist Church on Buffalo Road in Archer Lodge. This is a beginning performance choir. FUN, EXCITING, SELF ESTEEM BUILDING, MUSICAL EXPERIENCE. The Junior Chorus will perform at Festival of Trees in Smithfield, Clayton Senior Center, Homeschool Chorus Christmas and Spring Concerts, and possibly other events including the Homeschool State Convention, and end-of-year JCHE Celebration. Cost for JCHE Members is $40.00 per semester (13-15 rehearsals and 2-3 performances per semester), non-members $50.00; plus $10.00 per semester building usage fee and music fees that vary from $0-15.00 per semester. Payment plans are available. Semester fees cover the expenses of the Director and Accompanist and may be broken into $5.00 weekly payments over the course of the first two months of each semester.

We recently recorded a few of the songs we are working on in our JCHE chorus this semester.

This is an intermediate to advanced performance choir. FUN, EXCITING, SELF ESTEEM BUILDING, MUSICAL EXPERIENCE. The Senior Chorus will perform at Festival of Trees in Smithfield, Clayton Senior Center, Homeschool Chorus Christmas and Spring Concerts, and possibly other events including the Homeschool State Convention, and end-of-year JCHE Celebration.
